About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Industrial Painter to prepare and apply protective coatings and finishes to metal parts, machinery, and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial painting techniques, surface preparation, and spray equipment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous industrial painting experience preferred.
• Experience using airless, conventional, or HVLP spray systems.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and industrial coatings.
• Ability to read work instructions and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces by sanding, grinding, cleaning, masking, and priming prior to painting.
• Mix paints, primers, and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
• Apply coatings using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other industrial painting equipment.
• Ensure proper paint thickness, coverage, and finish quality.
• Inspect finished products for defects and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Operate and maintain paint booths, spray equipment, and related tools.
• Safely handle paints, solvents, and hazardous materials while following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of paint materials.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of painting equipment.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
