About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an Industrial Painter for the 2nd shift. This role involves performing industrial painting and powder coat painting processes on production materials according to specifications. The hourly rate for this position is $21 - $24 plus a $1 shift differential. The work hours are from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum one (1) year wet paint spray application or powder coat experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Only candidates residing within the immediate Williamsburg, VA area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial painting and powder coat painting processes on production materials in accordance to specifications.
• Prepare material for painting operations by mixing coatings in proper quantities and viscosities; unpackages, cleans, moves, and jigs product as necessary.
• Apply specified coating to products. Utilizes print specification and appropriate measuring tools to perform work accurately and assure quality.
• Thoroughly clean all painting equipment as required to maintain in proper working order.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance when required to ensure peak performance of all manufacturing equipment.
• Move material as needed to complete responsibilities using material handling carts.
• Ensure quality criteria are met by review of documents, consciences assembly and proper employment of quality verification checklist.
• Perform other duties as required including flexing to other departments.
