About The Position

M.W. Watermark is seeking an Industrial Painter I to assist the Paint WC Lead in all aspects of industrial painting. The company is passionate about water, focusing on innovation, customer service, and environmental consciousness. They build and refurbish custom water and wastewater treatment equipment, aiming to make a positive difference to the planet by keeping water clean and usable for future generations.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in an industrial painting environment.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent).
Must be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work at the direction of the Paint WC Lead to complete assigned duties.
Prepare materials for paint by grinding, sanding, de-greasing, seam sealing, etc.
Stage materials for paint both pre and post paint.
Assist with sand blast coordination.
Act as a backup to the Paint WC Lead when needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Take initiative to recognize the need for and complete tasks before management assigns them.
Operate forklifts, cranes, and man-lifts.
Promote and contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
Perform other duties as assigned.
