About The Position
High Steel Structures is seeking experienced Coating Specialists/Industrial Painters for their 1st-shift team in Williamsport, PA. This role involves preparing metal surfaces and applying standard finishes such as paint and metalizing to machined parts. The company has a strong reputation for fabricating structural steel for complex bridge and transportation projects across North America.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required
- The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments is necessary
Nice To Haves
- Previous painting experience, using spray gun, desired
- Sandblasting or powder coating experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Performing various tasks to prepare metal surfaces
- Applying standard finishes to machined parts, including paint and metalizing
- Applying specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members
