About The Position

The Industrial Painter Assistant performs chemical processing and material processing operations using process specifications, standards, and written or oral instructions. Processing operations may include vibrasorb, sand, bead or shot blasting, tumbling, and/or work in non-atmospheric controlled fields. The role groups and loads parts to use equipment efficiently and ensure uniform treatment, visually checks treated parts against specifications, maintains required records, checks work for compliance with requirements and good shop practices, and adds solutions to tanks as required.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Willingness to work any shift.

Responsibilities

Perform chemical processing operations according to process specifications, standards, and written or oral instructions.
Perform material and processing operations such as vibrasorb, sand, bead or shot blasting, tumbling, and/or work in non-atmospheric controlled fields.
Group and load parts to use equipment efficiently and ensure uniform treatment.
Visually inspect treated parts to ensure surface treatment meets specifications.
Maintain required records.
Check work during the process for compliance with requirements and good shop practices.
Add the proper solution to tanks as required.
