The Industrial Millwright is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably through preventive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns. The Millwright applies technical expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and CNC equipment to support production requirements while upholding company safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • 433A Industrial Millwright Mechanic (Red Seal) - Mandatory
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing setting
  • Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems knowledge
  • Knowledge of CNC machinery, lathes, gearboxes, induction heating, robotics, and press operations
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with power tools, hoists, and lift trucks
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform precise work within tight tolerances
  • Ability to work at heights and in potentially noisy, dirty, or chemical-exposed environments
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected breakdowns
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or hold a Permanent Residency.
