THE INDUSTRIAL MILLWRIGHT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE, TROUBLESHOOTING, AND REPAIR OF A WIDE RANGE OF INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT WITHIN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT. THIS ROLE ENSURES MACHINERY OPERATES SAFELY, EFFICIENTLY, AND RELIABLY THROUGH PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND QUICK RESPONSE TO BREAKDOWNS. THE MILLWRIGHT APPLIES TECHNICAL EXPERTISE IN MECHANICAL SYSTEMS, HYDRAULICS, PNEUMATICS, ROBOTICS, AND CNC EQUIPMENT TO SUPPORT PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS WHILE UPHOLDING COMPANY SAFETY AND QUALITY STANDARDS.

Requirements

433A Industrial Millwright Mechanic (Red Seal) - Mandatory
Minimum 3 years experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing setting
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to perform precise work within tight tolerances
Ability to work at heights and in potentially noisy, dirty, or chemical-exposed environments
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected breakdowns
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Knowledge of CNC machinery, lathes, gearboxes, induction heating, robotics, and press operations
Knowledge of blueprint and schematic interpretation
Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques
Proficiency with power tools, hoists, and lift trucks
Effective organizational and time management skills
Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be a Canadian Citizen or hold a Permanent Residency.

Responsibilities

Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
Ensuring machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Performing preventive maintenance.
Responding quickly to breakdowns.
Applying technical expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and CNC equipment.
Supporting production requirements.
Upholding company safety and quality standards.
