Requirements

Minimum Gr. 12 diploma and Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Millwright.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Millwright, with experience maintaining and repairing CNC and conventional machinery.
Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
The ability to wear the required PPE.
Candidates must meet security screening requirements as set out by ITAR/CGRP directives.
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and tools as required

Responsibilities

Maintaining and repairing (or arranging for the repair of shop floor machines.
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of machine breakdowns.
Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations.
Participating in the PM program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines.
Follow up with contractors/suppliers to ensure parts are ordered and received on a timely basis.
Prioritizing work schedule to ensure minimal disruption to production.
Maintaining and repairing physical plant structure.
Health and Safety enhancements to the machines and plant.
5-S Activities which include health & safety awareness/initiatives.
Adherence at all times to all Company policies and procedures.
Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
