About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment within a fast-paced industrial environment. Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing facility maintenance with a strong focus on mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in equipment troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, hydraulic repairs, and pneumatic system analysis.
  • Proficiency with schematics reading, electrical blueprint interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting methods.
  • Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Ability to perform welding tasks including stick welding with a focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Strong analysis skills combined with excellent customer service orientation when working with internal teams or external vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document issues and collaborate with team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating scissor lifts and familiarity with HVAC/R systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician practices, and electrical maintenance techniques.
  • Valid certifications or experience in industrial electrician work, HVAC/R systems, or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating machinery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues using schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes swiftly.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to ensure machinery meets specifications.
  • Conduct electrical diagnostics on systems involving low voltage, high voltage, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting using tools like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters.
  • Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely for maintenance access while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
  • Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems and implementing modifications or upgrades.
  • Perform welding tasks including stick welding to repair or fabricate mechanical components as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures related to high voltage systems, electrical maintenance, and industrial mechanic practices.
