We're looking for a Lead Erection Technician—a seasoned leader, a technical ace, and a safety champion, to join our elite field service team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll be the face of our company at customer sites, tackling the most challenging intermodal heavy equipment projects, from assembly to complex troubleshooting and repair.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
10+ years of relevant heavy equipment field experience, preferably working with gantry cranes or similar large-scale material handling machinery.
Deep knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assemblies
Strong crane signaling experience.
Ability to work independently, meet demanding deadlines, and maintain meticulous, accurate records while on-site.
Considerable climbing, twisting, bending, and kneeling.
Ability to ascend and descend ladders/scaffolding
Ability to lift parts up to 50 pounds.
Approximately 80–90% travel to customer sites, including frequent overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Overseeing and executing critical, large-scale projects at customer locations, including ports and rail yards.
Coordinating and executing the assembly and installation of massive intermodal heavy equipment, like gantry cranes and other material handling systems.
Reading and interpreting complex electrical and hydraulic schematics to diagnose, repair, and commission sophisticated systems and components.
Performing detailed preventative maintenance and comprehensive equipment inspections following strict OEM specifications, ensuring maximum reliability and uptime for our customers.
Serving as the primary point of contact for customer equipment requests, delivering world-class service and technical expertise.
Upholding and enforcing all railroad, safety, health, and environmental regulations and policies with a commitment to a goal of zero incidents.
Securing an E-Rail security clearance badge to operate in this critical environment.
