About The Position

ISCO Industries, the industry leader in HDPE Fusion, is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a passion for ensuring machinery runs smoothly, a commitment to excellence, and a love for working with their hands. This role offers a pay range of $25 – $35 per hour, dependent on experience. The position is open to either 2nd or 3rd shift.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair preferred
• Diagnostic ability and Troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to quality
• Ability to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and work in a team environment
• Interpret technical instructions
• Capability to use independent judgment and work both independently and, in a team setting.
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with computers for order entry, parts ordering and email is a plus.
• Automotive experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair fusion equipment including; small diesel/gas engines, generators, electrical circuits and hydraulic systems.
• Report machine defects, damages and malfunctions.
• Inspect, repair or replace parts as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Remove and replace failed parts.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Clearly communicate needed maintenance and repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
