The Mechanic maintains and repairs equipment and other industrial machinery, including conveying systems, production machinery, and packaging equipment.

Requirements

High school or equivalent
Ability to diagnose and repair equipment
Good communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and work self-directed and alone at times
Technical training and/or industrial related industrial maintenance experience
Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsibilities

Maintains and repairs equipment and other industrial machinery, including conveying systems, production machinery, and packaging equipment.
Keeps machinery in working order by detecting and correcting errors before the machine or the products it produces are damaged.
Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment.
Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Prepares reports documenting work performed.
Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
