About The Position

Clean Harbors in Muncy, PA is looking for an Industrial Mechanic to join their safety-conscious team. This role focuses on repairing, maintaining, dismantling, and moving large and/or complex stationary oil field equipment, ranging from centrifuges to pumps and panels. The problems encountered are typically not routine and require analysis to be understood. Mechanical experience, lathe operations are preferred, while electrical and welding experience are required.

Requirements

Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
3 years of mechanical repair experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid Driver’s License
Welding experience is required.
Strong aptitude in three phase electrical is required.

Nice To Haves

Lathe operations are preferred
Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting centrifuges, hydraulics, and heavy equipment repair are preferred.

Responsibilities

Dismantles and inspects machinery and equipment using precision measuring equipment.
Aptitude for failure analysis
Ability to weld using MIG, TIG, Stick, Torch, and Plasma
Determines and performs required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.).
