About The Position
The Industrial Mechanic performs daily maintenance activities within the mill in a safe manner. This includes troubleshooting, problem solving, preventive maintenance and other routine maintenance work.
Requirements
- Licensed Industrial Mechanic or equivalent
- 2 or more years relative work experience servicing equipment
- 2 or more years in a manufacturing environment
- Computerized Maintenance Management System - SAP preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of equipment and processes
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot components and systems used to control industrial processes
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
- Install new equipment – Project work
- Have experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques of equipment related problems
- Required to work shifts and provide on-call coverage
- Required to work in and understand our CMMS (SAP)
- Required to work at heights and in confined spaces
