About The Position

This role involves performing maintenance on heavy construction or industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to make simple calculations, read and understand technical documentation, and possess critical thinking skills to improve efficiency and safety. The position is primarily indoors at a service center, requiring the use of PPE, including respirators.

Requirements

Work experience in heavy construction or working with industrial equipment maintenance.
Ability to make simple calculations and read/understand drawings, work instructions, and other documentation.
Intermediate knowledge of welding and metallurgy and basic theory of welding and correct application of welding.
Standing for long periods of time.
Typical workday of 10hr, overtime and weekends as required.
Climbing of stairs and/or ladders.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
All sites require PPE, including special PPE such as respirators.

Nice To Haves

Able to perform more advanced welding techniques efficiently and with a consistent level of quality.
Has achieved certifications of millwright standards and possess certifications in other standards.
Millwright certification such as NCCER or other nationally recognized program.
Relevant job experience.
