About The Position

The Co-op Refinery Complex is hiring an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright on a full-time permanent basis. This role requires onsite work located in Regina, SK. This is an opportunity to work for one of Canada’s largest integrated refining and upgrading complexes. The shift is 4 days on, then 3 days off, totaling 37.33 hours per week. Requirements

• Have a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic/Millwright level qualification.
• Have a minimum of four years’ experience directly related to the required duties of the trade at the Complex.

Nice To Haves

• A good working knowledge of refinery operations and practices; this would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance and repair of compressors, pumps, blowers, pressure safety valves, high-speed packaging assemblies, and other rotating equipment.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
