About The Position
Hudbay is seeking Red Seal Industrial Mechanics/Millwrights for its Stall Mill in Snow Lake, MB. The Stall Concentrator is the veteran facility of the operations, located about 16 kms from underground Lalor Mine. It focuses on processing Lalor's zinc-rich and copper-rich massive sulfide ores using traditional flotation methods to produce zinc and copper concentrates.
Requirements
- Must be a Red Seal Journeyperson
Responsibilities
- Crusher & Mill Maintenance: Replacing liners in the jaw and cone crushers, and maintaining primary and secondary crushers
- Conveyor Systems: Aligning belts, replacing bearings and repairing drive motors that transport ore throughout the facility
- Pump Repairs: Maintaining pumps that move many different mediums such as "slurry", chemical reagents and water through the flotation cells.
