Howe Sound Pulp and Paper has an immediate opportunity for a full-time, permanent Industrial Mechanic (Millwright). As a member of the Maintenance team, you will provide safe maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment and systems to ensure optimum production.
Requirements
- Red Seal Certification
- Experience working within an industrial setting
- Experience with pump rebuilds, mechanical seals, hydraulic systems, bearing installation and other industrial equipment
- Superior troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to working safely
Responsibilities
- Provide safe maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment and systems to ensure optimum production.
Benefits
- Hourly rate of $48.66 as per the Howe Sound Labour Agreement
- Overtime is compensated per the Howe Sound Labour Agreement
