About The Position

Oxford Frozen Foods Ltd is the world's largest provider of Wild Blueberries, one of North America's largest producers of premium frozen carrots and one of Canada's premier manufacturers of onion rings and battered appetizers. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and maintain productivity, installing and terminating wiring for industrial equipment, performing electrical testing, and assembling and wiring control panels in accordance with drawings, specifications, and electrical codes. A strong safety mindset is essential, along with the ability to mentor and train apprentices while upholding quality and industry standards. Requirements

  • Red Seal Industrial Electrician preferred and or Construction Electrician
  • 4th year apprentices’ applications will be considered
  • Criminal Record Checks are required for successful applicants
  • Valid Driver’s License is required
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experiences in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of GMPs and food safety standards
  • Experience in PLCs, instrumentation, and process control

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and maintain productivity
