About The Position

Clow Canada is a national manufacturer of fire hydrants, valves and water/wastewater accessories to the Canadian market with roots dating back to the 1800s. Requirements

• Millwright trade certification or relevant trade certification
• Red seal certification
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or millwright work
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues independently
• Computer literacy for maintenance documentation requirements
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and adjustments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with welding, cutting, and fabrication is preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and executing routine preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules.
• Document all maintenance tasks, repairs, time required, and parts used on work orders.
• Recommend improvements to reduce future breakdowns and increase equipment reliability.
• Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and installation on machinery, tools, and industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Assist with the preparation and implementation of lockout/tagout procedures.
• Support recycling operations, including the handling and processing of materials.
• Source and procure general small tool parts as required.
