Boise Cascade is seeking a qualified millwright to join our maintenance team. Requirements

  • Excellent work and safety record
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to work in hot/dusty environments
  • Ability to work various shifts including days, swing and/or graveyard with required daily or weekly overtime as needed
  • Ability to comprehend and enter detailed work orders into a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Experience in Field Prep (shop math, basic measuring tools, hand tools, torqueing, fasteners, and print reading)
  • Experience in Assembly & Installation (part assembly, pre-alignment, alignment, belts, chains, fits, and tolerances)
  • Experience identifying and controlling failed components such as hydraulic and pneumatic components, pumps, and bearings
  • Experience in Fluid Power Operation and Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Pumping Systems (process pumps, piping, packing/sealing systems)
  • Experience in Rigging and Welding
  • Must be 18 or older to apply

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman level Millwright
  • Maintenance reliability knowledge
  • Computer experience (Microsoft products)
  • Familiarity with wood products machinery and equipment
