Job Summary: The Assembler Supervisor is responsible for assembling crane components to support production schedules as well as managing a team of assemblers. This role involves working closely with the production team to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes. Must have working knowledge in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
7 plus years relevant supervisory experience in an industrial setting
Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software.
Requires knowledge of mechanical assemblies and testing
Able to read prints and shop manuals
Must be able to perform simple computer entry for time keeping purposes
Prior experience with hand and air tools

Responsibilities

Manage inventories and labor to set budgets.
Develop KPI’s and present results to upper management
Assembles sub-assemblies and/or finished products in accordance with written and verbal instructions. (Industrial Cranes and Crane sub-assemblies)
Performs all aspects of assembly work.
In accordance with company procedures, cleans and prepares units for next operation.
Safely operates heavy equipment as directed.
Performs inspection activities.
Maintains accurate records.
May be required to operate forklifts.
Comply with all requirements of Quality Control.
Ensures compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Works well with others by showing mutual respect and consideration.
Performs additional duties as required.
