About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. With the 1+2 Industrial Maintenance Training Program, you can get paid while learning a trade. Students in the program complete a 12-month Industrial maintenance training program, working half a day at the Council Bluffs Case Ready facility and attending school half a day at Iowa Western Community College (IWCC). The employee commits to working full-time in the maintenance department at the Council Bluffs Case Ready facility for a minimum period of two (2) continuous years upon successful completion of the program. The successful candidate must be willing to work any shift upon completion of the training program and must be able to work holidays, weekends, and nights.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.

Prior mechanical training or experience.
