Industrial Maintenance Technician
About The Position
As a Plastipak Maintenance Technician, you will have job stability in a role where you'll maintain production lines that manufacture rigid plastic packaging for household brands and products. Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
- 3 or more years of experience maintaining manufacturing machines & equipment
- Solid hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical working knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving ability
- Ability to read & interpret technical & operational documents (manuals, blueprints, schematics)
- Your own tried & true tools (wrenches, screw drivers, sockets, ratchet sets, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without a reasonable accommodation
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & repair machine & manufacturing equipment for your assigned production lines
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Rebuild spare parts
- Participate in changeovers
- Diagnose electrical issues and investigate root cause
- Complete trainings & earn certifications
