Industrial Maintenance Technician (Overnight Continental) 75K-$95K (Depending on Experience) - Profit Share Program (included income)
About The Position
Maintenance Techs supports the operational effectiveness of a 24-Hour production department by responding to breakdown calls, trouble shooting, analyzing and repairing industrial equipment throughout the facility. The ideal tech will have determination to not just fix the breakdown, glitch, or malfunction but maintain a focus to determine the root cause. Then determine corrective action necessary to minimize downtime, increase productivity, and maintain continuity of operations. Techs should continuously promote safety by understanding and complying with all established safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of demonstrated maintenance experience in a similar environment
- Ability to interpret MEPS Schematics and diagrams
- PLC Troubleshooting Skills
- Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Pneumatics Experience
- Hydraulics Experience
- Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
- Power Industrial Vehicle Experience
- Troubleshooting CNC Machines
- IT Infrastructure Hardware Experience
Nice To Haves
- 2 Year degree in Maintenance Technology preferred.
- SCADA experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Complete preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs of all manufacturing equipment, including the fabrication and mechanical scope of repairs.
- Read and understand mechanical and electrical prints for working systems, to dismantle, repair, and re-assemble gear boxes, fans, conveyors, blowers, compressors, pumps, valves, drives and all mechanical equipment.
- Respond to breakdown trouble calls and bring machines to their proper running state, including troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing problems.
- Provide limited electrical support: 208/480V devices including but not limited to, motor starters, VFD’s, PLC’s, pumps, conveyor motors, transformers, etc.
- Utilize CMMS for work orders, PM’s and parts.
- Meet priorities and targets per work shift.
- Work alongside contractor/vendors when needed.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
