About The Position
A.J. Rose Manufacturing Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for first-shift operations in Cleveland, Ohio. The role maintains and repairs production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. The technician performs preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoots equipment, and supports machinery installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborating with production, engineering, and management teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to use maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Technical training or maintenance certification.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
- Welding, fabrication, and machining experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Install, maintain, and improve machinery and production systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, relocations, and new equipment installations.
- Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve maintenance-related issues.
