About The Position
An Omni Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures maximum production by troubleshooting, repairing, and performing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic tasks. The position performs preventative and corrective maintenance, responds to equipment breakdowns, makes facility repairs, and assists with equipment installation and assembly. The role requires compliance with safety regulations and supplying personal hand tools. The listed shift is 1st shift.
Requirements
- Able to assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
- Willing to learn to operate heavy machinery, such as a forklift, skid steer, and crane.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
- Able to perform work safely and efficiently.
- Willing to learn additional skills as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented with critical thinking abilities.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must supply own hand tools.
Nice To Haves
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Familiarity with industrial three-phase electrical circuits and schematics.
- Proficiency in understanding hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams and mechanical blueprints.
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
- Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.
- Respond in a timely manner to urgent breakdowns.
- Perform facility repairs as needed.
- Assist with installation and assembly of equipment.
- Comply with all safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
