About The Position
Twin Resources is partnering with a manufacturing company in the Northwest Dayton area to hire a hands-on Machine Maintenance Technician. If you enjoy troubleshooting, fixing equipment, and keeping production running, this is a solid opportunity to step into a critical role.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical + basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with hand tools and metalworking equipment
- Preventative maintenance experience
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Maintenance apprenticeship or technical training
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues by observing equipment and identifying root causes
- Perform repairs on motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment
- Handle electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
- Complete preventative maintenance (PMs) to minimize downtime
- Disassemble and rebuild equipment, replacing defective parts
- Use shop equipment like lathes, drill presses, and grinders
- Test and validate machine performance after repairs
