About The Position

Rousselot in Dubuque, IA, is seeking a skilled full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a knack for keeping complex machinery running smoothly, this role is for you. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you proactively maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Your responsibilities include installing electrical systems per national codes, programming and supporting various systems, and updating electrical schematics and documentation. You conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, improve maintenance procedures, and document your activities diligently. Whether diagnosing mechanical issues or supporting automation technologies, you prioritize inventory management, adhere to GMP and food safety protocols, and contribute to a strong food safety culture while ensuring optimal equipment performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with electrical and mechanical experience
  • Experience with industrial automation and controls, preferably Rockwell/Allen-Bradley systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to perform tasks like standing, walking, climbing, and crawling
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around hazardous materials
  • Skilled in reading schematics and using tools and equipment
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
