About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment through proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of industrial mechanical systems, preventative maintenance practices, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. This position requires a willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts, and to work in environments that may be dusty, noisy, and temperature-variable. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and collaborating with production teams to optimize operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, and temperature-variable environments.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
• Extensive knowledge of all equipment and facility operations.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of risk management and process safety management programs.
• Mechanical abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of USDA, OSHA, and state guidelines.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, agriculture, feed mill, or poultry operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and preventative maintenance practices.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with production personnel to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe maintenance work areas.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance shutdowns and emergency repair situations.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and work orders.
• Install, align, and test new equipment and machinery as required.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications when necessary.
