About The Position

The primary role of the Industrial Maintenance Technician is to develop the skills and ability to continuously improve the reliability, efficiency, and utilization of plant equipment and manufacturing processes. This is accomplished through training on the job with an experienced Technician and completion of vocational training through a local college. At Century Foods International we manufacture and market dairy proteins and nutritional products under private label and contract manufacturing agreements for the foods, sports, health and nutritional supplement industries. From research and development in our state-of-the-art labs, to the superior process and service capabilities of our manufacturing operations.

Requirements

1 year+ experience
Comprehensive knowledge of industrial mechanics.
Basic understanding of tig welding principles, single phase & three phase electrical, motor control circuits, PLC's & frequency drives.
Able to read and execute work orders and fill out requisitions.
Responds appropriately to problems and identify opportunities and create solutions while applying industrial knowledge.

Responsibilities

Apply industrial maintenance skills and knowledge to install, maintain, and repair plant systems and equipment.
Initiate and perform condition monitoring tasks including preventive and predictive maintenance.
Troubleshoot equipment failures to ascertain possible failure modes and participate with operations, plant engineering, suppliers, and other associates to improve equipment reliability.
Utilize the company's Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and supports its use as a key management information tool.
Recommend, develop, and implement system modifications to improve equipment operations and provide for attainment of plant and department goals.
