The company is actively seeking a hands-on electrical maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair 480V electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role primarily focuses on electrical troubleshooting and repair, requiring a problem-solver with deep diagnostic skills to identify the root cause of machine failures and ensure long-term reliability of equipment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience troubleshooting 480V electrical systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Experience with motors, drives, sensors, and control panels
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment
  • Knowledge of Arc Flash safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing environment preferred
  • ladder logic knowledge is a plus
  • Technical training in electrical or industrial maintenance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Locate and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures using meters, detailed prints, and schematics.
  • Repair and maintain high-voltage systems (480V), motors, switches, and automated controls.
  • Use PLC experience to identify issues and restore production (programming not required; ladder logic knowledge is a plus).
  • Execute planned and predictive maintenance on conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machinery.
  • Perform complex wiring and repairs in compliance with Arc Flash safety standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Partner with engineers and production teams to suggest improvements and reduce downtime.
