About The Position

Mister Car Wash is a rapidly growing company in the car care industry, and we are looking for skilled technicians to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for ensuring our car wash equipment operates safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where you will apply your electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic skills to perform installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs. You will diagnose and repair electrical systems, respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime, and collaborate with regional teams on new installations. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
  • Electrical experience, including exposure to 3-phase high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, AC/DC electrical systems, control wiring, and powered equipment.
  • Solid skills in at least four of the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Welding, Pneumatics, Plumbing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders).
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire).

Nice To Haves

  • VFD and PLC troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to maintain equipment.
  • Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3-phase power.
  • Travel to various sites within the market to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs.
  • Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
  • Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
  • Build strong relationships with teammates.
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational locations.
  • Gain exposure to new equipment, emerging technology, and best practices across multiple locations.
