Requirements
- Three years of mechanic experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed oriented and can multi-task
- Excellent time management skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the food/beverage industry
- Previous experience in Manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to direct, coach and train others
- Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain and service mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
- Perform skilled repair services of mechanical, electrical and building systems and equipment
- Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair
- Identify parts needed for replacement and places orders as necessary
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of switches, cables and other equipment to ensure optimum usage and quality
- Ensure compliance to company requirements
- Schedule and coordinate installation support and service operations
- Complete all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Accountable for food safety, food quality and regulatory requirements for their position
- Notify management about actual or potential food safety issues
- Adopt and maintain all SQF requirements for their position
- Work with supervision to resolve food safety and food quality issues within their scope of work
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
