About The Position

Mister Car Wash is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to help keep its car wash locations safe, efficient, and operational. The role involves hands-on installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial car wash equipment, with travel across the employee’s market in a company-provided vehicle. The schedule is five days per week, with two days off other than Monday and Wednesday, and shift hours of 12:30 PM–10:00 PM. The starting rate is $26.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial or production maintenance; breakdown experience is preferred.
• Electrical experience, including exposure to three-phase high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, AC/DC electrical systems, control wiring, and powered equipment.
• Solid skills in at least four of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, and plumbing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, crawl, and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Breakdown experience in industrial or production maintenance.
• VFD and PLC troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, perform preventive maintenance on, and repair industrial car wash equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and three-phase power.
• Travel across the market in a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
• Maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational locations.
• Build relationships with teammates who rely on the technician’s technical expertise.
