About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cooperage equipment; this includes completing preventative maintenance tasks, assisting the operators with breakdowns and new installations as necessary. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, 5:00pm-3:30am. Starting pay is $24.36 - $36.55/hour based on experience plus a shift differential.
Requirements
- 5+ years of prior Maintenance work experience required
- Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues
- Must be able to read electric schematics and have knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD)
- Ability to install, troubleshoot and maintain conduit wire, motors and electrical equipment on 240-volt, 3 phase and 440-volt systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery, utilizing strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
