About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Maintenance Technician III to provide multi-skilled maintenance and electrical support in a TPM and continuous improvement environment. The role focuses on customer service, quality, cost, and productivity while developing maintenance skills and abilities. The technician is expected to follow and promote safety practices and demonstrate respectful workplace behavior.

The position works the second shift, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend work may be required based on business needs. The worksite is at 1780 Westfork Dr., Lithia Springs, Georgia.

Requirements

• A two-year associate degree in a related field or equivalent prior work experience.
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience.
• Basic PC skills, including MS Windows.
• Ability to work in a team environment and self-direct activities.
• Strong customer focus.
• Continued technical training each year is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-skilled maintenance and electrical support focused on customer service, quality, cost, and productivity in a TPM and continuous improvement environment.
• Follow and promote safety practices and safely perform all job tasks.
• Demonstrate respectful workplace behavior.
• Understand, troubleshoot, and solve issues of basic complexity in advanced electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, drives, servos, HMIs, and CNC equipment.
• Test equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Use electrical test equipment to measure current, voltage, and resistance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot AC and DC motors and drives, basic motor branch circuits, and electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of PLCs, drives, and HMIs.
• Cut, bend, and install pipe.
