The Maintenance Technician II is an Electro-Mechanical position responsible for supporting manufacturing operations. This role involves adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking the usage of and ordering replacement parts. The technician will diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems, perform detailed equipment setups including recipe changes and control adjustments, and maintain mechanical machine components in top operating condition. An advanced understanding of electrical principles, safety, motor control circuits, and programmable drives is required. The role also includes troubleshooting PLC inputs and outputs, completing projects for electrical circuits and controls, maintaining pneumatic systems, performing preventative maintenance, and entering all work into a computer-based maintenance program. The technician will monitor and report spare parts usage, adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data, and collaborate with QA. Additionally, they will train Level I and II technicians in more complex tasks and skills, and perform other duties as assigned.
