Requirements

Must be 18+ years old.
Basic understanding of tools and equipment.
Willingness and initiative to learn and eventually grow with Terzo into a technician position.
Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and may occasionally have to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, assist in set up, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair assigned equipment, ensuring production and quality standards are met.
Assist in maintaining a clean work environment.
Gain understanding of sprockets and chains.
Assist in all repairs on belt conveyors, roller conveyors, turn tables, and paint sprayers (airless and diaphragm pumps).
Inspect and replace belts, hoses, pipes, and other warehouse power equipment as needed to ensure availability and safe operation.
Assist in carrying out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Maintain a daily work log on repairs for all equipment.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, including the maintenance cage.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Learn to understand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause.
Assist in the inspection and upkeep of machinery and equipment.
Adhere to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures.
Check for proper guarding of all machinery in departments daily.
Look for any visible wear or defects on machinery daily.
Check for proper oil levels and lubrication of all machines.
Assist in maintaining and repairing machinery in a timely manner.
Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment.
Willing to work in a dusty, dirty, and non-air-conditioned environment.
Maintain attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Keep a clean and safe working environment.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
Willing to learn and assist the Maintenance Technician to eventually move into the technician position.
