About The Position

Greystone Programs, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their supportive clinical team. This role focuses on providing person-centered care in residential settings for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The LPN will make a meaningful difference by building relationships, providing support, and managing ongoing medical care with adequate time and attention, avoiding the high patient turnover often found in hospital settings. The position emphasizes meaningful, person-centered care rather than hospital burnout.

Requirements

• Valid NYS practical nursing license
• Valid driver's license

• Previous nursing experience working with people with developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day medical care with an RN
• Advocate with families, doctor's offices, pharmacies and fellow team members
• Maintain electronic health records
• Train and support direct care staff
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
