About The Position
An established industrial wire manufacturer in the Kent, WA area is hiring an electrical maintenance technician to keep production machinery running. You'll install, modify, repair, and program electrical systems and components on industrial equipment. Full-time, direct-hire union role with strong benefits and a team that values safety and quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a maintenance electrician
- Experience with PLCs, drives, and up to 480V (no license required)
- Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and physical screenings
Nice To Haves
- Mill or heavy-industrial experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Install power supply wiring and conduit for machines and equipment
- Connect and disconnect power supply wiring
- Troubleshoot transformers, motors, control boards, and other equipment
- Replace faulty electrical components
- Work with coworkers and supervisors to diagnose equipment failures
- Follow all safety regulations and keep a clean work area
