About The Position

The Maintenance Technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems that keep Super Star Car Wash locations running. This is a skilled commercial/industrial maintenance role — not general or residential handyman work. The ideal candidate is an experienced technician who can independently identify the root cause of equipment failures, execute precise repairs, and carry out preventative maintenance across multiple sites while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The role involves traveling by company vehicle to different locations to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial car wash equipment, systems, and buildings. This role will be focused on the Colorado Spring and Denver area of Colorado.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Broad experience in diagnostics in complex mechanical repair or electrical and or hydraulic required
  • 3 years maintenance mechanical experience required, preferably in a commercial, retail or industrial setting
  • 18 years of age or older with proof to work legally in the U.S.
  • Must hold a current state issued driver's license and record in good standing
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment post-offer background, drug screen and 3-year motor vehicle check.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and document work performed
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
  • Must have your own basic hand tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pneumatic, plumbing, welding and installation strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, repairs and diagnostics on all electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment and systems within our car wash operations in a designated geography
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace defective components
  • Travel to multiple locations using a company vehicle, managing time efficiently to meet or exceed expectations
  • Respond to emergency requests on as needed basis.
  • Assist in the setting up of production and manufacturing machines and other systems and conduct repairs as necessary
  • Comply with OSHA, local and company safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe work environment
  • Track and reconcile all work orders along with parts used via a work order system
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
