Requirements

Analytical problem-solver with strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC programming capabilities.
Strength in customer service and collaboration; clear oral/written communication; strong judgment; motivation; planning/organizing; professionalism; quality and output focus; safety mindset; adaptability; excellent attendance/punctuality; dependability; initiative; and innovation.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
3+ years as a technician within the plastics industry.
Personally owned tools and the ability to use them safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair automation and production equipment to minimize downtime.
Perform set-ups and preventive maintenance on automation/production assets.
Diagnose and resolve processing problems tied to equipment performance.
Use a computer-based inventory system to generate reports and locate spare parts.
Complete day-by-day tasks in Maintenance Connection (CMMS).
Support maintenance and production teams as needed and help train peers when requested.
Deliver quality workmanship within reasonable time standards set by management via verbal and written instructions.
Use mandatory PPE, follow all safety rules, and execute tasks safely and efficiently.
Maintain flexibility to adjust your schedule based on operational needs.
Keep areas of responsibility safe, clean, and organized; follow all company rules and policies.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
