About The Position

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will maintain and repair plant and facility equipment — playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, OR 3–6 months of related experience or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Industry experience
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, crouch, and crawl throughout the shift
Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs. and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and communicate effectively
Ability to maintain close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

Routinely troubleshooting and repairing all plant and facility equipment
Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventative maintenance
Maintaining parts and tools inventory
Controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance
Installing new equipment as needed
Completing entries in the ERP system and accurately recording time worked to the appropriate job(s)
Operating a forklift as needed
Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
Maintaining a clean, orderly work area and complying with all OSHA and Puck rules and regulations
