About The Position
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic plays a key role in keeping production lines running smoothly by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting. This position ensures machinery operates efficiently, safely, and in line with production goals. The mechanic works in close coordination with production leads and equipment operators to identify and resolve mechanical issues proactively.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or mechanical repair in a production setting
- Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Strong diagnostic, time management, and organizational skills
- Safety-conscious mindset with high attention to detail

Responsibilities
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues affecting production machinery
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Respond to unexpected equipment failures to support continuous production flow
- Accurately document repair activities, parts usage, and maintenance history
- Partner with production staff to investigate recurring problems and develop solutions
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with maintenance standards
- Assist in the setup and installation of new equipment
- Track spare parts inventory and report low stock or ordering needs
- Contribute to process improvement efforts aimed at increasing equipment reliability
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that meets 5S and safety requirements
- Take part in safety training and contribute to a culture of safe work practices
