Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
About The Position
This is an entry-level position where the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will shadow the Industrial Maintenance Technician I and II roles to learn how to perform repairs, preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility. Responsibilities include receiving instructions on specific job tasks from Industrial Maintenance Technicians and Supervisors. Assistance is provided for unusual problems, and work is reviewed for sound professional judgment. Duties may vary by plant based on equipment and plant design. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer experience.
- Completion of Altium Industrial Maintenance Technician I training.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- May require a current OSHA forklift certification.
