About The Position

Silgan Containers is hiring Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for our Napoleon, Ohio, manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing high-speed manufacturing equipment and can lines, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and modifying industrial mechanical systems, and supporting safety, quality, and productivity initiatives. The position requires precision in measurements up to .0010.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic, maintenance mechanic, or maintenance technician in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting and measurement skills.
• Safety focused mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair high speed manufacturing equipment and can lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Troubleshoot and modify industrial mechanical systems.
