Requirements

3–5 years of mechanical maintenance or machinist experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Belts and pulleys, Welding
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent mechanical aptitude
High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

Read and work from blueprints, sketches, sample parts, and verbal instructions
Set up and operate manufacturing equipment including: Power saws, Drill presses, Grinding wheels
Use measuring tools and hand tools including: Scales, Tape measures, Hammers, Pliers, Wrenches
Install, move, lubricate, and repair machinery and industrial equipment
Repair belts, air lines, gas lines, and replace damaged machine parts
Maintain and repair hydraulic systems
Perform fabrication and welding including: Acetylene welding, Heliarc welding, Spot welding, Arc welding
Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
