Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience with tools, repairs, and troubleshooting
Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
Reliable and self-motivated
Good communication skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Pride in quality work and ownership mentality
Maintenance, facilities, industrial, or manufacturing experience
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, welding, or boiler knowledge
Preventative maintenance systems experience
Multi-site property or equipment maintenance experience

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair washers, dryers, presses, boilers, conveyors, and production equipment
Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and costly repairs
Handle building repairs including plumbing, lighting, doors, drywall, paint, locks, and general upkeep
Support retail stores, production plant, and office locations
Coordinate outside vendors and contractors when needed
Improve efficiency, equipment reliability, and facility appearance
Respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs
Keep accurate maintenance logs and records
Maintain safe work practices and OSHA compliance
