About The Position

Installation of VAC Circuits up to 480VAC. DC Circuits. Basic PLC and ladder logic understanding to troubleshoot and repair equipment with PLCs. (You will not be doing any PLC programming). Industrial Controls. Panels, relays, switches, wiring. Able to read, interpret and follow Electrical Diagrams and schematics. Understanding and knowledge of VFDs. Rotating Equipment troubleshooting and repair. Preventive Maintenance Execution. Pneumatics and pneumatic controls and components. Hydraulics and hydraulic controls and components. Inspection of equipment and effective communication with peers and managers. Able to read, interpret and follow mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams and schematics. Must be able to weld using MIG and/or Use all sorts of equipment and tools for the trade, electrical testing tools as well as mechanical tools. Must understand and follow instructions. Must be SAFE and use the appropriate LOTO procedures. Must be able to learn quickly to operate equipment to test and assure its proper operation. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years experience working as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with a demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting. Prior experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment desired. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and quickly respond to minimize production delays.
  • Education: High School Diploma. Technical School Certifications preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication. Must be able to understand and follow directions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Technology:  Strong working knowledge of MS Office and other support software.
  • Position Type and Expected Hours of Work - Must be able to work rotating shifts and be available for overtime and weekend work, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
  • Must understand and follow instructions.
  • Must be SAFE and use the appropriate LOTO procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment desired.
  • Technical School Certifications preferred.
